Guided nature hikes

Every Saturday morning, there are guided, themed nature hikes in Flims and its surroundings relating to the Flims landslide, orchids, UNESCO, hunting, mushrooms and forest. These easy hikes, with a duration of two to four hours, are led and supervised by subject specialists, such as mushroom inspectors and local gamekeepers. Flims landslide

This hike explains the origins of the Flims landslide, as well as its relation to the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Orchid hike

This hike will show you what orchids are and how they are protected. You will also learn about their basic needs and life expectancy.

This hike with a Geoguide teaches you about the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mushroom hike

This hike shows you exactly what a mushroom is and explains the different types of mushrooms (tree fungi, edible mushrooms, etc.).

Foray into the forest

This hike teaches you about wood, autumnal colours and various types of fruit.

This hike teaches you about the habitats of animals, gives tips on observing animals, and provides information about hunting and protected areas.
