Enduro

Endless flow

Enduro involves endless flow, technical descents and magnificent views of the Flims mountain landscape. To save energy, you can use our cable cars, shuttles or PostBus service for the first few metres. However, as the saying goes: no pain, no gain. To take full advantage of the single trails, you need to exert some muscle power. For example, you can take the Crap Sogn Gion cable car up the mountain, before applying the pedals and enjoying the Alpine and technical single trails that the mountain has to offer.

Suggested Trails

Crap Masegn

If you take on this trail, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views. It’s just a short climb from Crap Sogn Gion to Crap Masegn station, where the single trail fun begins. From here, the trail winds through some very stony, and in part, rocky terrain, crossing back and forth over a mountain stream until it finally reaches Plaun via barren Alpine pastures along narrow single trails. The trail demands a certain level of expertise and is sure to be an experience to remember.

Naraus Mountain Trail

The trail starts at Naraus station, and the initial climb has to be undertaken by foot through a steep Alpine meadow. Once you’ve got the initial ascent under your belt, the mountain trail follows a gentle incline to the lower Segnesboden. From here, you can enjoy splendid views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sardona. Then it’s on to Alp Nagens via the Segneshütte mountain lodge. As the Naraus mountain trail is very popular among hikers, we would ask bikers not to use this trail from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the months of June to October. During the early morning and evening hours, you will be rewarded with wonderful light conditions and pleasant temperatures.

Crest La Siala

From Crap Sogn Gion station, it’s just a short climb to the start of this trail. Once you get there, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Vorab Glacier across the Flimserstein and down to Flims. Then things really get going. From the very start, the trail is quite challenging. Riding on technically difficult terrain, you follow a rocky single trail down to the stream. You will continue along this trail until you reach the Plaun plateau. From here, you can venture on a number of other trails which will take you back to the valley.

Bike and eat

Biking is known to work up an appetite and a thirst. Some of our restaurants, mountain lodges and cafés have recognised this and are offering a range of tailored packages to bikers at discounted prices. You can avail yourself of practical packed lunches to go, recharge your batteries with an energising lunch and raise a glass to your day with a cool, after-bike beer.

Restaurants

Bike and grill

Home-made food is always the best. This is why we have set up official barbecue areas throughout our region, both on the mountain and in the valley. You can reach the fire pits directly by bike and cook up some delicious barbecued food in the heart of our beautiful region. The barbecue areas are also the perfect place to discuss your plans for your bike trip.

Bike and sleep

After a tiring day on your bike, you can stay at one of our bike hotels, often situated along our routes and trails, where you can find everything that your biker heart desires, including overnight washing and drying service, lockable bike rooms, lunch packages and much more. We do everything we can to make sure that you wake up fully relaxed the next morning, full of energy and raring to get back on the saddle.
