Mirasteilas Observatory

Star gazers, future astronauts and explorers of distant galaxies will be interested in the biggest telescope in Switzerland that is open to the public at the Mirasteilas Observatory. The 1.6 ton Cassegrain telescope has a focal length of nine metres. From Mirasteilas asteroids, comets and satellites can be observed and the data is made available to the American space agency, NASA. Go ahead – take a look inside!
